The intimate image, first published on Jackson’s Instagram and X (fka Twitter) profiles, shows the singer staring onward with her flawless face painted to perfection by close friend and celebrity makeup extraordinaire Preston Meneses.

Jackson Looks Forward To Being ‘Together Again’ Following Astounding Tour Run
Jackson’s upcoming Vegas residency, her second overall, comes just two months after the final date of her “Janet Jackson: Together Again” world tour.
Initially kicking off in April 2023, the two-leg excursion saw Jackson traveling across the continental United States multiple times, followed by stops in Canada and several countries in England.
A stop in South Africa scheduled for September was sadly canceled due to the death of her brother, fellow legendary musician Tito Jackson.
According to Billboard, the 2023 run alone drew in an estimated $50.9 million in sales, making the tour Jackson’s most successful of her entire music career.

She Has Promised ‘New Music’ Is Coming – We All Have To Wait (Awhile)
Fans of Jackson have repeatedly pressed the singer for new music over the years.
In her defense, the singer did oblige somewhat by previewing a previously unheard track, tentatively titled “Keep Dancing,” during several stops on the “Together Again World Tour.”
Another song, “Luv I Luv,” was played during the end credits of her 2023 self-titled Lifetime docuseries.
While promoting the 2024 leg of the tour, Jackson opened up to Ryan Seacrest about her decision to stop the release of “Black Diamond,” an album initially scheduled to be released in tandem with another tour back in early 2020 – at the start of the Coronavirus pandemic.

“It was supposed to come out,” she explained in April of this year, “but we went into the pandemic and [there were] a couple of things that I needed to straighten out in my backyard.
“We’re past all that,” Jackson later assured Seacrest, “[so], we’re going about putting out new music for sure.”
Jackson Recently Thanked Fans Following A Personal Trying Time
Though Jackson rarely engages beyond social media, her world was thrown for a loop this year following a controversial interview with The Guardian.
As reported here on The Blast, the singer, often celebrated for being politically conscious, was criticized over what was seen as a slight toward Vice President Kamala Harris’ racial identity when Jackson questioned Harris’ Jamaican and Indian background.
Jackson’s silence in the days following the interview ramped up the criticism. However, she was said to be mourning the loss of her brother Tito, which occurred on September 15 – less than a week before the interview was published (she also admitted to being ill during the interview).

In a short video to fans posted in late November, Jackson addressed her fans for the first time following the controversy.
Though she did not speak on the matter directly, she thanked them for their unwavering support after her loss.
“Thank you for giving me so much love, always,” she softly states. “Thank you for all of the beautiful [and] kind words. I miss you [and] love you – God bless. See you soon!”
